A report MUST be submitted to be paid!

Drop cards are Required – it will not convert without one.

When you get paid
Spotters are paid only on conversions (when a customer books and pays for a collection).
A Spotter report is valid for 28 days from the report date.
The order must be placed within 28 days of the report (the collection itself can happen after the 28-day window).
If a collection is booked after the 28-day window, no commission is paid.

Address + winner rules
The address on the Spotter report must match the address on the order.
If multiple Spotters report the same property, the most recent valid report before the booking wins.

Fair use (no spam)
Do not spam a property. Maximum:
1 report per property per week, and
1 drop card per property per week
for pallets.
Repeated reporting/dropping at the same property may void commission.

Commission rates
Launch promo: 20% of collection value on pallet collections until 28 Feb 2026.
From 1 Mar 2026, rates revert to:
10% (1–5 conversions/month)
15% (6–10 conversions/month)
20% (11+ conversions/month)

Photos and Conduct
Photos are encouraged to help us confirm the job.
Do not take photos of people, and do not take photos through windows or anything that shows inside the home.
Do not touch pallets or enter property. You are spotting and reporting only.

Speaking to customers
You may speak to the homeowner if it’s natural and friendly — conversions increase when people understand the service.
You can report both residential and commercial customers (commercial often means higher value jobs).

Firewood / Logs

Winter is obviously the best time. Look for stacks or wood. Use your eyes and your nose.

General Rules and Commission

No drop card needed — just a report.

A report must be submitted to be paid.

New customers only. If the address is already an active customer (ordered within the last 12 months), the report won’t qualify for commission.

When you submit a report, our sales team will check: whether the property has been an active customer in the last 12 months, and whether we’ve already visited the property in the last 6 months.
If either is yes, we will not visit and no commission is payable for that report.

If your report triggers a sales visit, that address is claimed by your report for 6 months from the report date (no need to re-report). If the customer places an order within that window, you earn commission. If we also offer repeat-order commission, it applies for up to 12 months from the report date.

We have a wide selection of local and national suppliers and bulk buying power, so our prices are hard to beat.

Photos (optional but recommended): Reports with clear photo evidence (e.g., a log stack, log store, coal bunker, recent delivery) are prioritised. Never take photos through windows or in any way that invades privacy.

Address match: The address on your report must match the address on the order.

Re-reporting: You don’t need to report the same property more than once in a 6-month period. If you’re unsure whether you’ve reported it before, you can submit another report — but it won’t override an existing valid claim.

Optional (helps conversions): If you speak to the homeowner naturally, you can ask if they have a log burner and where they currently get their wood from. No hard selling required.

Scrap Metal

The scrap dealer will pay for leads which saves them time and money. You get 60% of what they pay us for all your leads at the end of the month.

What to report
You can report:
Scrap metal (pipes, radiators, gates, bikes, appliances, metal frames, tools, etc.)
White goods (washers, dryers, fridges, freezers, cookers, dishwashers)
Other bulky items that are clearly being disposed of (only if photo proves it)
Photo required (no photo = no payout)
A clear photo is mandatory for every scrap report.
Photo must show the item(s) and enough of the surroundings to confirm the location (e.g., driveway/front garden/gate/skip area).
Do not photograph people, number plates, or inside homes. Do not take photos through windows.
No touching / no moving
Do not touch, move, or collect anything yourself.
You are spotting only.
Validity + winner rules
Scrap leads are fast moving, so:
First valid report wins (the first report with a usable photo + correct address).
If the scrap is still there later, you can report it again, but only if your new report includes a new photo taken that day.
When you get paid
Scrap commission is paid only when a collection is confirmed by the scrap partner (or by us if we collect it).
If the scrap is gone / not collected / not accessible, no commission is paid.
Commission (simple launch version)
Commission varies by job size and what the partner pays for it.
You will receive 60% of the finder’s fee we receive for your leads.
Payouts are calculated and paid monthly once jobs are confirmed.
Address rules
The address in your report must be as accurate as possible:
House number + street + postcode (or closest match if it’s a back lane/side street).
If the address/location is too vague to collect, the report may be marked Invalid.
Fair use
Don’t spam the same location: max 1 scrap report per address per day unless the scrap has clearly changed (new items added) and you include a new photo.
