How we got here.

After working in retail for far too long, I ended up turning a hobby into a small YouTube niche that started paying better than my day job. I went self-employed, found I was good at sales, and for a while things were flying.

Then the sector I was in got shut down overnight. Cease and desist. Game over. I needed a new lane.

Sales became the obvious path — and the only companies willing to take a chance on me were ISPs, doing door-to-door cold calling. If you’ve ever done sales (or worked outside in all weathers), you’ll know the reality: our hit rate was about 1 in 50. That means 98% of your time doesn’t pay.

That’s when the idea really took hold:

What could I do while I’m already out here, that pays me — without changing what I’m doing?

Over time, I spotted loads of opportunities… but there was no system. No way to capture them, track them, and turn them into real income.

Six months ago I had no choice but to diversify. The market changed, commissions dropped, and I had to hustle to stay afloat. That’s when Pallet Pickup came first — because I kept seeing pallets sitting outside the same houses for months. People didn’t know what to do with them. They don’t fit in most cars, they take ages to dismantle, and they just sit there.

But pallets alone wouldn’t be enough.

That’s where The Spotters Network was born.

I tested opportunity after opportunity, market by market, until the proof of concept was undeniable. In November 2025 I went part-time to build the infrastructure — and now in January 2026 I’m full-time on this, and we’ve launched with our first Spotters and 3 categories live, with plenty more coming.

The concept is simple

We help businesses reach the right people at the right time — and we pay Spotters for reporting opportunities they already see.

I don’t want “Spotting” to change your day.
I want you to get paid for what you’re already noticing.

Reports take 30–60 seconds. There’s no selling. You were there anyway.

Some opportunities, once converted, can trigger repeat orders for months — and we’ve got more coming that can pay for as long as a customer stays active.

My job now is simple:

Make sure the juice is worth the squeeze.
